Great pictures, and what a great cake idea! Hoping you have an awesome Christmas. I am waiting for kids to wake up – they sleep late as teens, even on Christmas.

Very nice pictures. So, your wife is a Brevard county girl? I grew up in Palm Bay and Titusville.
You look so scholarly with that pipe! Of course I am a little curious about what you are smoking in there.
Thank you for the Christmas wishes
ryc Ron: We both grew up in Melbourne, Florida. I went to Southwest Jr. High in Palm Bay for one year (I used to live across from FIT). It’s a small world
BTW, years ago the pipe would not contain a legal substance, but, now it’s just cherry pipe tobacco
ryc: Merry Christmas to you & your family too.
Hi Jan – we moved from Brevard county when I was a teenager. My brother moved back after college and lived in both Orlando and Indian Harbor Beach for a long, long time. I loved going to visit him. My fondest memories of my childhood are of traveling with my father in his VW in Melbourne and Eau Gallie. The only thing negative I remember was the smell of the Indian River.
My parents were in the aerospace industry so that’s why the Brevard-Houston connection.
Ha! too funny (read your response to ronlawhouston above). I like your picture with the pipe. Your wife and daughter are beautiful! Thanks for sharing these precious photos.
We had a birthday Cake ourselves for Jesus. Not quite as symbolic as yours, just a brownie cake with some whip cream frosting. (yummy) but the boys really loved singing happy birtday to Jesus. And I read them the story of Christmas out of their baby bible which really just says that Jesus was born on Christmas and that Jesus was our present from God. We did that before presents That way the first present that they could unwrap on Christmas day would be from God. It really worked out great.
PS tell Kelly that I really enjoyed spending some time with her the other day, I loved hearing all her stories. I fell like I have known Shannon for so long after talking with Kelly. I can’t wait to meet her this Sunday.
I have saved the birthday cake images and will be making that cake next year! I love the symbolism to explain the story of Christ! Great idea… thank you for sharing the pictures.
